17. סדרי דין ודיני ראיות
(א)בכפוף לאמור בחוק זה ובתקנות לפיו, לא תהא ועדת תביעות חייבת לנהוג לפי סדרי הדין של בית משפט ולא תהא קשורה בדיני הראיות, ובמיוחד רשאית היא, אם הדבר נראה לה בנסיבות הענין, לקבל להוכחת זכויות שבירושה, ראיה אחרת במקום צו ירושה של בית משפט או של בית דין.
(ב)סעיף קטן (א) איננו גורע מהאמור בסעיף 28 לחוק ועדות חקירה, תשכ״ט–1968.
