תיקון: תש״ח־2, תשכ״ח
יכול המנהל הכללי לאַשר מחיקת הפסדים כספיים (שנגרמו ע״י שוד וכו׳) עד לשיעור של לא יותר ממאתיים לירות בכל מקרה, ועד כדי אלפיים לירות לשנה:
בתנאי שהמנהל הכללי יאַשר בכל מקרה כזה שההפסד לא נגרם ע״י מעשה־מרמה או ע״י רשלנות מצד פקיד מפקידי מסלות הברזל.
