בשביל העבודות הקטנות החדשות הנזקפות על חשבון ההכנסות של מסלות הברזל נקבע סעיף הוצאה בתקציב השנתי, ובאישורו של המנהל הכללי מותר להוציא עפ״י סעיף־הוצאה זה עד לשיעור של אלף לירות לכל מקרה ומקרה בעד עבודות דחופות הקשורות בהחזקת השירות של מסלות הברזל.
