התובע אישית ידרוש בתביעתו פיצויים בעבור הוצאת שם רע, דיבה או השפלה כפי שהוא מעריך, על הנזקים האישיים שנגרמו לו, ולבית המשפט הרשות להעריך את גובה הפיצויים לפי מהות העבירה והשפעתה על קרבן המעשה ועל־פי מעמדו החברתי.
