43. סמכות להארכת מועדים
כל מקום שפקודה זו קובעת שאחת הפעולות תיעשה מספר מסוּים של ימים לפני מועד הבחירות, רשאית ועדת הבחירות המרכזית, אם תראה סיבה מספקת לכך, להאריך את המועד לאותה פעולה עד חמשה ימים נוספים, אולם אין הועדה רשאית לדחות את מועד הבחירות.
