8. עיכוב במתן תעודת שחרור בשל הצורך לבצע בדיקה במזון
לא תינתן תעודת שחרור למזון שיובא בהליך מקוון אם המפקח בתחנת ההסגר הורה על בדיקה לפי תקנה 7, ובדיקה כאמור טרם בוצעה; ואולם מפקח רשאי להורות על ביצוע הבדיקה לאחר מתן תעודת שחרור ובכפוף לתנאים שייקבעו בתעודת השחרור, לרבות לעניין ביצוע הבדיקה; תנאים לעניין תקנה זו ותקנות 9 עד 13 יכול שיכללו, בין השאר, דרישות למתן ערובה לפי נוהלי יבוא מזון, לקיום הדרישות שנקבעו ולעמידה בתנאים.
