8. הזמנת עד
עד הנמצא באחת המדינות בעלות האמנה שהוזמן להתייצב בהליכים שבפני בית משפט בישראל בדרך שנקבעה באמנה ולא התייצב, לא ישא באחריות פלילית על אי־התייצבותו ולא יוטל עליו אמצעי כפיה בגללה, אפילו הכילה הזמנתו אזהרה על ענישתו למקרה של אי־התייצבותו, זולת אם לאחר מכן נכנס לישראל מרצונו והוזמן בה מחדש כדין.
