9. ביטול בחירת נציג רשות וחדילת חברותו
(א)רשות מקומית רשאית לבטל את בחירת נציגה ברשות ולבחור באחר במקומו; לביטול כאמור יהיה תוקף מיום בחירתו של נציגה החדש של הרשות המקומית האמורה.
(ב)נציג רשות מקומית יחדל מחברותו ברשות באם הורשע על־ידי בית המשפט בעבירה שיש בה משום קלון.
