נפטר מבוטח ובן זוגו חדל להיות מסוגל לכלכל עצמו תוך שנה מהפטירה, יהיה זכאי בן הזוג לקצבה החל ביום הפטירה כל עוד אינו מסוגל כאמור, ואם שולם לו מענק – ייזקף המענק על חשבון הקצבה המגיעה לבן הזוג.
