מת ההורה המבוטח או חדל להיות מבוטח, תשתלם מכוחו קצבת הילדים שהיתה משתלמת בעד הילד אילולא מת או אילולא חדל להיות מבוטח; ואולם אם היה לילד הורה שני, והוא זכאי לקצבה תשולם הקצבה מכוחו של ההורה השני.
