19. אישור הממשלה לביטול הכרה
החלטת המועצה לפי סעיף 18 טעונה אישור הממשלה, אך לא תאשר הממשלה החלטה זו, אלא לאחר שניתנה למוסד שהכרתו בוטלה, הזדמנות סבירה לטעון טענותיו ולהביא ראיותיו לפני שר החינוך והתרבות או מי שימנה לכך; הממשלה רשאית גם להחזיר את הענין למועצה לדיון חוזר, ואם החליטה כך יחולו הוראות סעיף 11, בשינויים המחוייבים לפי הענין.
