It is the Registrar of Nonprofits' confirmation that a nonprofit has filed its reports and is run as the law requires. Government bodies usually ask for it before they give a nonprofit money.

The Registrar lists it as a nonprofit that exists. A nonprofit that was struck off the register or is being wound up has another status, and its page says so.
