Amir Dadon started in youth bands in Eilat and broke through with Or Gadol in 2008

Amir Dadon was born in Beersheba in 1975 and moved to Eilat as a teenager, where he played in local youth bands, among them 059. In 1998 he was a member of Para Kdosha, whose only album, Two Good, had the hit Rega with him singing lead.

He broke through in 2008 singing She'eriot Shel HaHaim on the Idan Raichel Project's album and with Or Gadol, which he wrote and composed. His debut album, Amir Dadon (2010), went gold and won him ACUM's discovery of the year award; Yesh Ein Sof followed in 2013, and that summer he opened Kaveret's reunion concert in Park HaYarkon.

In 2016 he played Jean Valjean in Les Misérables at Habima and won the award for best actor in a musical. His third album, Livchor Nachon, came out in 2018, Ma'agal HaHaim reached the top of Media Forest's weekly chart in 2023, and his fourth album, BaYom HaHachi Yafe, came out on 29 July 2026.
