Nunu came from the jazz track at Ironi Alef to her own colourful Tel Aviv pop

Nunu is the stage name of Naomi Aharoni-Gal, born in Tel Aviv in 1998. She studied at the Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium and in the jazz track of Ironi Alef high school for the arts, and served in the army as an outstanding musician, a track that combines study at the Rimon School of Music with a military band.

Her first single, Banim, came out in June 2021, and Living the Dream, in December, caught on across social media, TikTok above all. In May 2022 she and Roni Duani opened Maroon 5's second show in Park HaYarkon, and in July she released her first album, Status. That year she won ACUM's Discovery of the Year prize.

Omigad reached number 8 on the Galgalatz chart in 2023, and in 2024 she wrote the music for the play Kafot at the Cameri Theatre. Her second album, Ma Hutz Mizeh, which she co-produced with Gal Oved, came out in March 2025, and in 2026 she sang Sport, the Maccabiah song, with Jimbo J and released HaGanuz, an album she wrote in 2022 and had set aside.

Her path runs from Banim in 2021 to her third album, HaGanuz, in 2026
