The Marciano family's fish and seafood restaurant on the King Solomon promenade, at the edge of Eilat's marina

Les Sardines is a fish, meat and seafood restaurant on the King Solomon promenade in Eilat's hotel district, on the stretch by the Laguna hotel at the edge of the marina. It opened in about 2014: in March 2015 ynet wrote that it had opened on the marina less than a year before, and found its design fresh and its atmosphere family-like. The Marciano family founded it and runs it. By the restaurant's own account, Yitzhak Marciano opened it after some 30 years in the trade, 17 of them at Batzal Yarok, a well-known Eilat restaurant; his son Sahar joined him, and Sahar's mother, Rachel, makes the desserts. Its menu, published in Hebrew, has fish grilled, baked, cooked and cured, seafood from shrimp and calamari to mussels and crab, pastas, a burger, an entrecôte and a children's menu. Among its signature dishes it counts a duet of sea bass and salmon, a sea bass fillet rolled around cubes of salmon, and Rest's 2022 guide to Eilat restaurants, written from locals' recommendations, picked the same duet with the grilled aubergine, the ceviche and the crème brûlée. It is open every day, Friday and Saturday included, from 12:30 to 23:00, and hosts birthdays and team events of up to 100 guests. Livo's 2026 guide notes its view of the yachts, recommends it at sunset in summer and advises booking ahead in season. Tables are booked by phone or through a form on its website, and a booking holds once the restaurant has called back to confirm it.

Its website gives 12:30 to 23:00 from Sunday to Saturday, and its Google listing, as Wanderlog copies it, gives the same. Rest gives 12:00 to midnight every day, d.co.il 12:00 to 23:59, the official tourism site eilat.city 12:00 to midnight, and ROL from 12:00 until the last diner.
