Léonie Einstein is the first Haifa branch of Léonie, the bakery store of the city's Sinta Bar group, in the commercial centre at 139 Einstein Street. Its site says it was born in the heart of a residential neighbourhood and has become part of it: the place where people start the morning with coffee before work, stop in the afternoon for another coffee on the way, and come back with the whole family at noon on Friday. Its site says Léonie grew from years of gathering tastes in the small delis on European street corners, with fresh breads, pastries and sandwiches made every day, spreads, salads, cold cuts and cheeses, and fresh pasta from the group's own factory. It opens Sunday to Thursday 07:30 to 19:00 and Friday 07:00 to 15:00, and is closed on Saturday.
