The Viennese coffee house of the Austrian Hospice on the Via Dolorosa in the Old City, serving melange, apple strudel and schnitzel in the largest open garden of the Old City.

Café Triest is the café of the Austrian Pilgrim Hospice of the Holy Family, a guest house that has stood on the Via Dolorosa since 1863. Its page says that behind an almost unremarkable door on the Via Dolorosa a building opens up that would not look out of place on Vienna's Ringstrasse, and that the café brings Viennese coffee house culture to the Old City: Wiener Melange and apple strudel, and also schnitzel and Sachertorte, served by local staff or by young volunteers from Austria. Guests sit in the Kaiserstüberl room or in the garden, which the hospice calls the largest freely accessible garden in the Old City. The café is open to visitors who are not staying at the hospice, every day from 10:00 to 22:00, with the kitchen open until 21:00.
