A neighbourhood café in an old stone building between Katamon and the Katamonim, with its own patisserie, a deli shelf, a small gallery and a summer festival in its courtyard.

Zariffa is a café in an old stone building on Horkania Street, between Katamon and the Katamonim, which its site says once served grandmother Zariffa and grandfather Saleh for selling ice. It keeps the neighbourly, unhurried feel of the area in the 1950s and serves a menu that mixes local traditional touches with new flavours, from sandwiches, kada and shakshuka to pizza on a slow-risen dough. Beside the café runs a patisserie of breads, pastries, cakes and cookies, with a gluten-free section and pastries for other allergies, and a deli selling boutique olive oils, homemade jams, dips, handmade pasta, quiches and local wines. A small gallery sells gifts and shows local artists, and since 2020 the summer festival 'Osim Chaim' has brought weekly concerts, talks and cultural evenings to the courtyard.
