12 HaMelacha Street, Poleg industrial zone, Netanya

A kosher dairy fish street-food restaurant in the Poleg industrial zone, run by new immigrants from France since early 2025, with brioches, fish burgers and plates from an open kitchen and a large terrace

Sea You opened at the start of 2025 on HaMelacha Street, one of the inner streets of the Poleg industrial zone in the south of Netanya, and mako listed it among the week's new openings on 29 January 2025. New immigrants from France run it, ynet wrote in April 2026, and French is spoken there. Its website, written first in French, calls it street food with a French twist: a concept that combines gastronomy with street food, with recipes created by a chef and fish in all its forms. The menu is built around brioche. There are thick slices of buttery brioche with fillings, among them the Tunisea of red tuna, harissa, preserved lemon, fried potato and a soft egg, its take on Netanya's Tunisian sandwich, a salmon melt, a white-fish ceviche and a fish shawarma; and there is what it calls burgers, brioche buns filled with fish, among them the Signature of cod in tempura with tartare sauce and cheddar, a tuna minute steak and a smashed fish patty, some of them also made as mini burgers. Plates of fish and chips, a Caesar salad with smoked salmon, salmon tartare and a salmon benedict, fries, sundaes and a chocolate brioche with caramelised pear complete it. The kitchen is dairy and kosher, mehadrin, under the Netanya religious council. Inside there is a large open kitchen, and outside a terrace with dozens of seats; at lunchtime orders are taken at the counter, and in the evening waiters serve at the tables. It is open from Sunday to Thursday, 12:00 to 22:00, and closed on Friday and Saturday. In April 2026 mako put it on its list of Israel's best street food for the year, and ynet's critic Yehonatan Cohen wrote that there is no other place like it, singling out the Tunisian brioche, the Signature burger and the chocolate brioche. A second Sea You opened in Kikar HaAtzmaut, in the city centre, in the spring of 2026.

Sources disagree on these hours

Its website, in Hebrew, English and French, gives Sunday to Thursday 12:00 to 22:00, and so did mako in January 2025 and April 2026 and mynet in April 2025; mako's April 2026 list gives the same hours for both branches. The contact block at the foot of its French page gives Sunday to Thursday 11:30 to 23:00. Wolt takes its orders from Sunday to Thursday, 11:45 to 22:00, and shows it closed on Friday and Saturday; those are delivery hours. Its listing on Alloj gives the same weekday hours and also marks it open on Saturday night, which no other source says. At lunchtime orders are taken at the counter, and in the evening waiters serve at the tables, ynet wrote in April 2026.
