Yes Planet complex, 4 HaMea VeEsrim Street, Rishon LeZion

Chef Guy Peretz's Greek taverna by the lake in the Yes Planet complex in Rishon LeZion, a dairy and fish kitchen where dinner turns into a Greek party with live singers every evening

Salon Yevani on the Lake, as its booking page and its Google listing name it, is chef Guy Peretz's Greek taverna in the Yes Planet complex at 4 HaMea VeEsrim in Rishon LeZion, on the shore of the complex's lake, and the Rishon LeZion branch of his group of restaurants of the same name. By its own account Peretz opened the taverna in 2020 at the West hotel in Tel Aviv, moved it to Herzliya Pituach in 2023 and added this one in 2024; mako reported it as new in Rishon LeZion on 29 July 2024, and Mazav's review of 22 August 2024 said it had opened a month earlier, an almost exact copy of the Herzliya restaurant and its menu. In October 2024 mako called it the group's huge flagship. The group has since opened in Jerusalem and Zichron Yaakov (2025) and at Savyon Junction, and in August 2026 mako reported a restaurant to open at Zim Urban at the Dead Sea after the Tishrei holidays. Peretz, born in Dimona in 1977 to a family of chefs and butchers from Casablanca, trained at the Tadmor school, won 13 international gold medals as captain of Israel's national chefs' team and has written four cookbooks. The kitchen is dairy and fish: mezze, fresh local fish, Greek classics, pastries and pastas, with ingredients imported from Greece, feta dishes, grilled fish and a fresh vegetable station, and the menu marks its vegan and gluten-free dishes. The room has blue windows and plenty of flowers, guests may smash plates as in Greece, and beside it Mykonos Terrace is a lounge over the lake for meals and cocktails at sunset; a Greek deli, Deli Greek, and a Greek street-food counter, Taverna Express, are still listed on its website as coming soon. Its format is what it calls Dinner & Party: a chef's dinner that turns into a Greek party with singers from Greece and Israel and oud, bouzouki and keyboard players, every evening it opens and on Friday at midday, three to four hours in all. Mazav's reviewer wrote that the bouzouki player arrives at about 20:30 and the singer joins at 21:00, and in Walla's interview of September 2024 Peretz described an "Am Yisrael Chai" moment at the height of the evening at his restaurants, with the whole room on its feet. Every evening has a minimum order of 200 shekels a diner, 300 on Thursday, except at happy hour. It takes private and business events of 10 to 400 guests by its booking page, and up to 450 by its events page, from bar mitzvahs and weddings to conferences, in the morning, at midday and in the evening. Parking is free in Yes Planet's large car park, its website says.
