Zygo is a kosher dairy café, bakery and bistro that chef Guy Rozmarin opened in May 2025 with Handler Bakery, the family bakery inside the supermarket at Kibbutz Ma'ayan Tzvi; the name was his grandfather's nickname. Rozmarin, a Game of Chefs finalist, ran Ba'ito in Haifa's Talpiot market until the war closed it. The café is in a stone house on Givat Zamarin from 1906 that belonged to the Blum family, among the town's first settlers; it was rebuilt in 2008 and was home to the restaurant Adama for 16 years (Globes). In the morning the counter holds Handler's pastries, cakes and sandwiches, with breads, granola and crackers to take home and challah on Fridays; from 12:30 the kitchen serves lunch plates of pasta, fish and vegetables. You order at the counter and collect when the buzzer goes, then sit in the stone house, on the roof or in the yard, which looks out over the sea, the Carmel ridge and Mount Horshan (Globes). The wines come only from Maya, the neighbouring boutique winery of Tulip. In the winter of 2025 to 2026 it also served dinner on Sunday evenings, with white tablecloths and full service. Globes picked it as a stop on the way north, and mako put it on its list of the best bakeries opened in Israel in 2025.

Its booking page on Tabit gives these hours, in a weekly schedule last changed on 4 June 2026, and keeps Saturday closed. Breakfast is served until 12:00 and lunch from 12:30 to 16:00, by its menus on Ontopo. When it opened in May 2025, mako gave Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 18:00 and Friday 08:00 to 15:00, and in August 2025 citynews gave Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00. From November 2025 it served dinner on Sunday evenings from 19:00 and stayed closed on Sunday during the day (Yuvi Yam; Globes in December 2025; Walla in January 2026). Its Tabit schedule has no evening hours, and its Ontopo page still shows a Sunday dinner menu from autumn 2025 but takes no bookings. d.co.il gives Sunday to Thursday 7:30 to 19:30 and Friday 9:00 to 13:00.
