Nichoach Kafe opened on HaMeyasdim, the pedestrian street of Zichron Yaakov, in 2005. By its own account it is a neighbourhood café that recalls the cafés of Paris, which slowly won over the town's old families and became their daily meeting place, a kind of parliament of Zichron Yaakov and the area. Today the café is also a roastery: besides its regular menu it roasts beans and makes gourmet espresso blends, which it sells to cafés, restaurants and patisseries across the country and to home drinkers, along with coffee machines and grinders. The company behind it, which began in spring 2004, also runs coffee and drinks bars and dairy catering for events. The café opens at 07:00 from Sunday to Friday, closes at 13:00 and is closed on Saturday, and it is kosher, dairy, at the mehadrin level under the Zichron Yaakov rabbinate.
