Oren Hazan was born in 1981 in Israel

Oren Hazan was born on 28 October 1981. He is the eldest son of Aviva and Yehiel Hazan, who later became a Likud member of the Knesset. He studied at religious state schools in Ariel and was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement.

He joined the IDF in 2000 and served in the Air Force. After his service he studied law at Ono Academic College and chaired its student union, but he did not finish his degree. He was active in Likud youth and took part in the struggle against the Gaza disengagement plan.

From 2006 to 2012 he ran a shawarma shop in Ariel, and in 2009 he managed a bar in Tel Aviv that closed in 2011. From 2012 to 2014 he lived in Burgas, Bulgaria, where he managed a casino. A 2015 television report said he hired escorts and used hard drugs there, and in 2016 a court rejected most of his libel suit over it.

In 2015 he was elected to the Knesset from the 30th spot on the Likud list, reserved for young candidates. He served as a deputy speaker, and in 2016 he was suspended from the plenum for six months except for voting. He drew criticism over remarks about Palestinians, African migrants and others.

After a low place in the Likud primaries, he re-established the Tzomet party for the April 2019 election, and it won no seats. In 2019 he was sentenced to community service for assaulting a public servant in 2014. He later won a celebrity season of the reality show Big Brother.
