על אף האמור בסעיף 1א המחיר המחייב לקמעונאי של תכשיר ותיק, למשך שלושת המחירונים הראשונים שבהם יופיע כתכשיר רשום, יהיה המחיר לקמעונאי של תכשיר מתאים בכל אחת מהמדינות הנקובות בתוספת הראשונה, הגבוה מבין כל אלה, כפי שיפרסם המפקח במחירון, כשהוא נקוב בשקלים חדשים.
