5. סמכות להטיל חוקים שבתוספת הראשונה
(1)מותר לה להוד מלכותה במועצה, אם יישר בעיניה, להורות בדבר מלך כי החוקים המתוארים בתוספת הראשונה לחוק הזה, אף כל חוק שיהא נוהג באותה שעה ואשר יבוא לתקן אותו חוק או אשר יבוא במקומו יחולו על כל ארץ נכריה שיש להוד מלכותה שפוט באותה שעה עליה, בין באותם יוצאים מן הכלל, התאמות או שנויים שיהיו נזכרים בצו, ובין בלעדיהם.
(2)מאז ואילך יחולו אותם חוקים, עד לשעור אותו שפוט, כאילו היתה אותה ארץ מושבה בריטית וכאילו היתה הוד מלכותה במועצה הסמכות המחוקקת של אותה מושבה.
