בפרק זה –
”מזח“ – כל מקום התקשרות של מכלית במסוף;
”מפקח כבאות ראשי“ – כמשמעותו בסעיף 22 לחוק שירותי הכבאות, תשי״ט–1959;
תפקיד ”מפקח כבאות ראשי“, לפי חוק שירותי הכבאות, תשי״ט–1959 הוחלף בתפקיד ”נציב כבאות והצלה“ לפי חוק הרשות הארצית לכבאות והצלה, התשע״ב–2012.
”סירת כוננות“ – כלי שיט קטן המשמש בתפקידי כוננות כיבוי אש.
