בקצה צנרת המסוף המשמשת להזרמת שמן, המתחבר עם סעפת המכלית, יותקן ציוד שיאפשר את ניתוקה המהיר של הצנרת בעת חירום ובכלל זה מגוף פרפר למניעת שפיכת שמן בעת ניתוק חירום.
