13. הפסקת כהונתו של הנגיד
(א)נשיא המדינה רשאי, לפי הצעת הממשלה, להפסיק את כהונתו של הנגיד, אם ראה שאין הוא ראוי להמשיך בכהונתו בשל אחד מאלה:
(1)עשה מעשה שאינו הולם את מעמדו כנגיד;
(2)פעל בניגוד לאמור בסעיף 11;
(3)נבצר ממנו, דרך קבע, למלא את תפקידו.
(ב)הצעת הממשלה לנשיא לפי סעיף קטן (א) תובא לידיעת ועדת הכספים של הכנסת עם הגשתה לנשיא.
