124יט. מנהל הרשות הממשלתית
תיקון: תשס״ו
(א)הממשלה, על פי הצעת שר התשתיות הלאומיות, תמנה את מנהל הרשות הממשלתית, שיהיה אחראי לניהול משק המים, בהתאם למדיניות הממשלה, ובכפוף להנחיות, להוראות ולכללים שקבעה מועצת הרשות הממשלתית.
(ב)מנהל הרשות הממשלתית יהיה עובד המדינה; תקופת כהונתו של המנהל תהיה חמש שנים ואפשר לחזור ולמנותו לתקופת כהונה אחת נוספת, של שלוש שנים.
