אסיר רשאי לפנות אל מנהל בית הסוהר ולבקש ראיון עם מבקר רשמי; מנהל בית הסוהר יעביר את הבקשה למבקר הרשמי בצירוף הערותיו; אין מבקר רשמי חייב להיענות לבקשות ראיון.
