82. תקופת השירות
תיקון: תש״ס, תשס״א־2, תשס״ו־2
(א)כל המבקש להימנות עם השירות ייבדק בדיקה רפואית, ומשאושר גיוסו יגוייס לתקופה של חמש שנים.
(ב)עשרים וארבעה החודשים הראשונים ישרת המגוייס שירות נסיון ויידרש לעבור קורס אימונים; נמצא בתוך תקופת הנסיון כי הוא בלתי מתאים לתפקידיו או שאין סיכוי שיהא יעיל, רשאי הנציב לצוות על שחרורו, והמגוייס יחדל להימנות עם השירות ולא תהא לו כלפיו כל תביעה.
