Section 4 of תקנות המים (מניעת זיהום מים) (שטיפת מיתקני ריסוס), התשנ״א–1991, משטח שטיפה.
4. משטח שטיפה
(א)משטח שטיפה יהיה עשוי בטון במידות של 6×5 מטרים לפחות, עם קירות היקפיים בגובה שלא יפחת מ־20 סנטימטרים, למעט מצד הכניסה.
(ב)משטח השטיפה יהיה אטום באופן שימנע חדירה לקרקע של הנוזלים שהצטברו בו.
(ג)משטח השטיפה יהיה משופע כלפי צינור ניקוז כדי לאפשר ניקוז שאריות התכשירים לתוך מכל איסוף או לתוך בריכת אידוי, וכדי למנוע את גלישתם מחוץ למשטח השטיפה, כמפורט בתקנות 5 ו־6.
