Full Trunk started as a trio in 2010 and named itself for a trunk full of guitars, amps and drums

Full Trunk began in 2010 as the Gal Nisman Trio, with Gal Nisman, Ofer Weiner and Yotam Elazari, and took its name after keyboard player Ariel Keshet joined; the name comes from life on the road, with a trunk full of guitars, amps and drums. Their self-titled debut came out in February 2014 and was chosen by the Israeli Blues Association as the best Israeli blues album of the year.

Their sound is the blues rock of the 1960s and 70s mixed with Eastern rhythms. Time For Us To Move (2015) was sung entirely in English, and the EP Show Us What You Got (2017) gave them As a Stone, a duet of Gal Nisman and Sivan Talmor; with Mamota, with guests Jimbo J and Gaya Elbaz, the band moved to Hebrew.

Od Yom became the theme song of the second season of the TV series Tagad in 2020. Stalbet BaKibbutz, with Jimbo J, was named song of the year by Galgalatz, 102FM and Kan 88, and in 2022 the ynet and Radio Tel Aviv annual chart named Full Trunk band of the year. Shover Bamot followed, and in the summer of 2026 the band sold out the Barby in Tel Aviv and Zappa Haifa.
