Lee Biran was born in 1989 in Kfar Saba and grew up there, studying music at Galili High School and playing drums in a local band. In 2007 he released an EP, Playing the Game, on his own, and in 2008 he reached the final of the sixth season of Kochav Nolad and finished second.

His debut album Kisim came out in 2009, and its first single, Tni Li Avir, spent three weeks at number one on the Galgalatz chart; Adayin Shelcha, which he wrote and composed for Avihu Shabat, topped the same chart for nine weeks. On television he played leading roles in HaChamama and Oboy, writing, composing and producing all of Oboy's original songs, and his duet from that series with Eliana Tidhar, Biladecha, became a hit in 2019.

He followed with the albums Lee (2022) and Darko Shel Olam (2024), and in 2025 with Yom Yafe, an album and book for children of twelve original songs he wrote with Eliana Tidhar and produced. On stage he played a lead role in the musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert at Habima in 2025 and the title role in Peter Pan in 2026, and he has appeared in Festigal several times since 2010.
