Rinat Bar released her first album at 12 and has been singing for three decades since

Rinat Bar was born in 1984 in Ashdod and began singing as a child with a wedding band. In 1996, at 12, she released her first album, Yalda Ktana, with duets with Avi Bitter and Avi Sinuani, and was soon called the child prodigy of Turkish-style song. Her second album, HaNeshika (1998), went gold, and the same year she released BeHafla Gruzinit, sung entirely in Georgian.

Her album Malachim (2003) carried songs she wrote and composed herself, and her duet with Hayalei HaNekama, Achat MeElef, brought her wide exposure. In 2005 she came seventh in the Israeli Eurovision selection with Kmo Chalom, and she has also written for others, among them Regev Hod's BaTelem Ohavim (2006) and Ad HaSof, a 2014 duet for Eyal Golan and Sarit Hadad.

The double album Chikiti Lach came out in 2012 and Malka in 2016, with a hafla disc of medleys in Hebrew, Arabic, Turkish, Iraqi and Georgian. In 2019 her 1999 song Pio became a nationwide hit after going viral on TikTok. In January 2025 she sold out a show for 6,000 people at Expo Tel Aviv, and on 31 July 2025 she played Menora Mivtachim Arena for the first time in her career.
