Skazi went from a Jerusalem punk band to Tomorrowland

Skazi is the stage name of Asher Swissa, who was born in Jerusalem in 1975. He started out at 15 in a Jerusalem punk band, and in 1998 he and his partner Assaf Bivas began Skazi: trance with a hard rock sound and electric guitar riffs.

Their first album, Animal, came out in 2000, followed by Storm in 2002 and Total Anarchy in 2006, and in 2003 they founded the label Chemical Crew. DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs placed Skazi 37th in 2006.

The partnership with Bivas ended in 2012, and Swissa went on as Skazi. He has played Tomorrowland in Belgium and in Brazil, released Faded with Nervo in 2019, and in 2022 founded a new label, Reborn.
