Avi Aburomi went from song sketches on YouTube to ACUM's composer of the year in nine years

Avi Aburomi was born in 1996 and grew up in Eilat. He began his musical path in 2014 by uploading sketches of songs he wrote and composed to YouTube, put Tedi Lach online in June 2015 and released it in a studio version in 2016, and in 2015 took part in the second season of X Factor Israel, leaving at the boot camp stage.

His debut album, Siba Linshom, came out in 2021. In 2022 Sapri Lahem HaKol became his breakthrough: it reached fifth place in Kan Gimel's annual chart and won him breakthrough of the year there and at Frogi's awards. In June 2023 he won ACUM's award for composer of the year, and duets followed with Mor Ravi'i, Raviv Kaner and Shiri Maimon.

On screen he has played Muhammad Tawalbeh in Fauda from its fourth season in 2022, and in 2024 he danced in the third season of Dancing with the Stars and appeared in the Festigal for the first time. In April 2025 he released HaNasich Shelach just before a concert tour around the country, and 2026 brought Kach Oti LeThailand, the mini-album HaChiyuch HaElegant and Krav Agudalim with Anna Zak.
