Dudu Outmezguine is an Israeli pastry chef who studied at the Tadmor cooking school in Herzliya and then in Paris, at the Ecole Lenôtre and the Ferrandi school, and later with Pierre Hermé and at Le Cordon Bleu in France and the Callebaut Chocolate Academy in Belgium. In 1998 he opened his first konditoria in Kiryat Motzkin, and it has since grown into a national chain whose site lists 22 branches, Ashdod's among them. The chain's shop sells loaf cakes, krantz and yeast cakes, cookies, boutique tortes, pies, macarons and boxes of chocolates, for same-day delivery or for pickup from a branch within two hours of ordering. The city's tourism site gives the Ashdod branch on HaKlita Street.
