Yama Spa is a boutique day spa on the second floor of the Marina Mall at Ashkelon's marina, looking out over the yacht harbour and the open sea. It covers about 450 square metres, designed in a modern style with nature themes, and has eight treatment rooms, among them a room with a private jacuzzi bath facing the sea, an authentic Turkish hammam that its site says is the only one in Ashkelon and around, a dry sauna kept at 80 degrees and a sea-view rest lounge with herbal teas, coffee and snacks. Its treatment list runs from Swedish, aromatherapy, Thai, shiatsu, hot-stone and Ayurveda massages and reflexology to hammam scrubs and couples' treatments with wine, and it hosts birthdays, anniversaries and get-togethers. It is open from 09:00 to 18:00 from Sunday to Thursday and on Friday from 09:00 until an hour before Shabbat.
