Americana is built like a holiday village: low buildings round a large pool, palm trees and green gardens, a few minutes' walk from the North Beach, the marina and the Mul HaYam mall. Its site says a renovation finished in April 2025 rebuilt the 40 garden rooms in the single-storey buildings, each now with a private balcony under a eucalyptus pergola, and renewed the lobby, the front and the dining room. Around the pool are sun beds, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a toddlers' pool and a kids' club that opens in summer and on holidays. The hotel has a synagogue, Yad LeDavid, named for its founder David Appel, a spa with paid treatments and a supermarket at its front, and a branch of the kosher grill chain Shipudei Tzipora stands by the entrance and is paid for separately. In summer and on holidays there is evening entertainment.
