The visitor centre of Psagot Winery at Sha'ar Binyamin, in a stone building shaped like an ancient khan, with a wine museum, a barrel cellar, tours, tastings and a café-patisserie, 15 minutes from Jerusalem.

Psagot Winery was founded in 2003, and its story begins, by its own account, in a 2,500-year-old cave where an ancient coin was found; at its latest harvest it made about a million bottles, more than 70 percent of them for export, in some 25 wines. In June 2020 it moved to Sha'ar Binyamin, to a stone building in the shape of an ancient khan looking out over Wadi Qelt and the hills of Edom, with the winery on one side, the visitor centre and event hall on the other, and an inner courtyard and lawn between them. A tour starts at the wine museum by the main entrance, goes on to a lookout over the Michmash stream and down to a wine balcony above the barrel cellar, and ends with a tasting; tours, tastings, workshops and light dairy meals for groups are booked ahead. Its café-patisserie serves handmade French pastries, salads, toasts, pastas and coffee all week, and the winery shop sells its wines.
