A pastry restaurant beside Mahane Yehuda market, on the light rail line, where pastry chef Racheli Ver-Nir's croissants are made to order with chef's fillings.

Racheli Ver-Nir is a pastry chef who started out at 15, taught French patisserie to thousands of students in workshops across the country and won the television contest 'The Perfect Dessert'. In the Covid period she opened Maafiti, a pastry stall in Mahane Yehuda market, and after the win she opened this chef's restaurant of croissants and pastries right beside the market, on the light rail tracks, in a European atmosphere. Here the pastries in the window are for show only: when you order, the pastry is made on the spot, filled with slow-cooked vegetable stews, cheeses made in-house and mousses, to a Parisian standard of freshness. It is open Sunday to Thursday from 9:30 to 15:30 and on Friday until 14:00.
