Tomer's Bread bakes country loaves on a sourdough starter it has kept since 2003: flour, water and salt, worked by hand from natural ingredients only, with no added sugar and no baking improvers, and its patisserie makes cakes, cookies and other sweet things beside the bread. The Talpiot shop is at 2 Poalei Tzedek Street in the Talpiot industrial area, where the Jerusalem religious council's kosher list has both the bakery's café and its plant. It opens from 08:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 13:30 on Friday, until 14:00 in summer, and closes for Shabbat; its site gives an accessible entrance with a lift from the ground floor. It is one of eight shops, five of them in Jerusalem and the others in Maccabim, Modi'in and Mevaseret Zion. Orders are taken on the chain's line, 1-599-50-50-99.
