A Roman pizza trattoria on Sokolov Street, opened in 2022, with pala and tonda pizzas, Florentine-style panini and handmade pasta

Panetti began in 2017 as a boutique Italian catering service built around Roman pizza, and in May 2022 it opened an Italian "workers' restaurant", a trattoria popolare, on Sokolov Street. It serves two kinds of Roman pizza: the pala, rectangular, slightly thick, airy inside and crisp outside, and the tonda romana, round, very thin and crisp; its site says the dough is made over several days from a mix of Italian flours, and that the tomato sauce, balsamic, truffle and olive oil come from Italy. Beside the pizzas it makes thick Florentine-style panini and focaccia, salads, handmade pasta and desserts. Its site says its pizzaiolo, Avishai Ran, trained at the Bivero Pizza Academy in Florence and at ASR Pizza Lab in Madrid. It takes phone orders, with free delivery in Ramat HaSharon on orders of 150 shekels and up, takes orders through Wolt, and caters events of about 20 to 50 guests.
