Meltzer Beer House, at 4 Ben Gurion Boulevard, pours about 140 beers from around the world, 20 to 30 of them on tap, with some imported only for it, and a list of wines and beer-based cocktails. Its site tells how Amit, after 20 years of collecting beer mats and eight years as a partner in the Pepe restaurant, launched the Meltzer beer brand in 2016, named for his father Ilan, who appears on the logo, and opened the beer house in 2022. The Meltzer range has eight beers, from the flagship pale ale and a hazy IPA sold only here, on tap, to a summer ale and a Christmas ale aged ten months. The kitchen serves food made to go with beer: small plates, sausages, loaded sandwiches, seafood and vegan dishes, to nostalgic music from the 60s to the 80s. It hosts events of 20 to 140 people.
