Melech HaShawarma is a meat and shawarma restaurant in the food court of the old Kanyon HaZahav mall at 21 David Saharov Street. Its site says Radik, one of its owners, got that nickname more than 30 years ago, when he was among the first restaurateurs in Rishon LeZion to bring shawarma to the city. The menu has chicken, lamb or mixed shawarma in a pita, a lafa or a baguette, or in a tray, alongside chicken skewers, schnitzel, chicken breast and falafel. It opens at 11:00 from Sunday to Friday, closes at 15:00 on Friday and opens again half an hour after Shabbat ends.
