An escape-room complex of seven rooms in two neighbouring buildings on Yosef Karo Street, near Sarona in Tel Aviv, from a room for families to a two-room game for competing teams

MysticRoom was set up in July 2015 by three partners, who chose 19 Yosef Karo Street for being close to Azrieli, Sarona and the railway. At number 19 are the Curse of the Pharaohs (2 to 7 players), the Book of Secrets of the Universe (up to 10 players, recommended for 4 to 6, and its site says it is a harder room), the Other Side (3 to 6 players; its site says it is creepy and not recommended for children under 12) and the Book of Magic, a lighter family version for mixed groups with children of up to 10 people. At number 18 next door are NYC at High Speed (3 to 8 players) and two identical Deadly Mission rooms (3 to 7 players each), which can also be played as Battle Games, a 75-minute game in which two teams of 6 to 14 players in all race against each other. Games last about an hour, every room is set up for Hebrew and English, the youngest age without an adult is 13 or 14 depending on the room, and the building at number 19 can host up to 25 adults or 35 children at once, with about 20 adults or 30 children more at number 18. It also hosts birthday surprises with champagne and balloons on request, and sells gift vouchers.
