Elite Bakery's Eli's shop on HaMasor Street in Upper Tiberias, with sourdough breads baked in a stone oven

Eli's is the shop of Elite Bakery, which its site says was founded in Tiberias in 1940 as the Dagan bakery and renamed by the founder's grandsons; a great-grandson later trained as a pastry chef at Le Cordon Bleu in London. Its site says everything is made in its own production, by hand and by traditional methods, and that its sourdough breads are made without yeast and baked in a stone oven; the range runs from sourdough loaves, rolls and baguettes to yeast cakes, tarts, cream cakes, baked cheesecakes, quiches, a low-calorie range and a gluten-free line. This shop is at 23 HaMasor Street in Upper Tiberias, the address at which the bakery's company is registered, and the chain's site lists disabled parking there. It opens at 06:00 from Sunday to Friday, closes at 20:00 on weekdays and before Shabbat on Friday, and is closed on Saturdays and holidays.
