HaMeyasdim 16 is a kosher meat restaurant at the start of HaMeyasdim Street, where Zichron Yaakov's pedestrian street begins, and it is run by chef Alon Fingold and his partner Sigal. Fingold worked as a civil lawyer until he was 44, left in 2012 to cook, took a course at the Bishulim cooking school and in 2017 took over the restaurant, which had opened about two years earlier, as he told Rest's magazine in 2019. At the heart of the open kitchen is a wood-fired taboon, where the breads and focaccias are baked from yeast dough made every day and some of the meats are cooked. By Fingold's account the lahmajun is among the dishes the place prides itself on, many customers come especially for the burgers, and the winning dessert is the HaMeyasdim pastry, yeast dough rolled with a sweet spread and baked in the taboon; beside them are steaks and skewers from the grill and vegetarian and vegan dishes. It is a small family restaurant of about 40 seats, with a covered balcony looking out to the sea, heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer, and it hosts boutique events of up to 35 people. It is closed on Friday and Saturday. Poenta's guide to the town in June 2026 counted it among the important stops for those who keep kosher.

These are the hours on its own website, and its Google listing gives the same, with Friday and Saturday closed. Tourism guides of June 2026 give 12:00 to 21:00, and 12:00 to 22:00 on Thursday, and Rest Sunday to Thursday 12:00 to 21:00. Its Tabit page takes table bookings from 12:00 to 22:00, and orders for delivery and takeaway on Tabit and Wolt close at 20:45, on Thursday at 21:45. Dapei Zahav still lists Saturday 19:00 to 22:00, and Ontopo, which takes no bookings for it, Friday 12:00 to 15:30 and Saturday 20:45 to 23:30.
