בתוקף סמכותי לפי סעיף 7 לחוק סדר הדין הפלילי (סמכויות אכיפה – מעצרים), התשנ״ו–1996 (להלן – החוק), ולאחר שנציבת בתי הסוהר אישרה, בהתאם לתקנה 2(א) לתקנות סדר הדין הפלילי (סמכויות אכיפה – מעצרים) (תנאי החזקה במעצר), התשנ״ז–1997, כי תאי המעצר המפורטים להלן עומדים בתנאים לפי החוק וכי ניתן לאפשר לעצורים שיוחזקו בהם במשמורת את זכויותיהם לפי החוק, אני מכריז בזה כי השטח הידוע כמגרש ב1 בגוש 40052 בתחום השיפוט של העיר אילת (בית מעצר אילת), הוא מקום מעצר שבאחריות שירות בתי הסוהר.
